Traemand and your personal information

Consumers

Why do we use it?

We take personal information submitted by consumers in order to better serve their requests for additional kitchen installation information.

Our forms pages on www.traemand.com ask for personal information depending upon the service or request that you have. These fields include:

Prospective employees

Why do we use it?

We take personal information submitted by prospective employees in order to better facilitate requests for employment inquiries and job opportunities.

What do we do with it?

Traemand uses information submitted through resumes or job applications to conduct screening and interviews with prospective employees who have willingly shared their personal information via Bamboo.

If searching for open jobs, www.traemand.com redirects prospective employees to http://traemand.bamboohr.com/jobs/. What We Do

Traemand is changing the face of the home improvement industry one project at a time. We are IKEA’s nationwide kitchen installation company. Traemand’s experienced team can measure, plan and install your dream IKEA kitchen, offering a five-year limited warranty on work in conjunction with IKEA’s 25-year product warranty. Our mission statement encompasses our core values: providing the service we want for ourselves and our families in the heart of our customer’s home.

How IKEA is involved

What is Traemand’s relationship with IKEA? Traemand works as the only IKEA-approved national installation services provider for kitchen planning and kitchen assembly and installation. IKEA sells three types of planning services for your kitchen renovation projects to consumers and dispatches Traemand to perform the services. Traemand provides kitchen cabinet assembly and installation services for consumers by contracting for those services directly with each individual consumer. A separate delivery service provider for IKEA is responsible for the kitchen delivery. Does Traemand receive my personal information from IKEA? Yes, Traemand receives personal information from customers through a Service Order when a consumer purchases a planning service from IKEA. A Service Order is a form that a customer fills out at IKEA after they have agreed to purchase a planning service. What is it used for? The personal information of Service Orders include:
  • Full name
  • Address
  • Phone
  • Email
  • Planning service
  • Provider of service
  • IKEA store
  • Delivery instructions
  • Booked date
This information is used for contacting consumers to confirm details of their purchased planning service as well as dispatching professionals to complete the planning service at the consumer’s jobsite. Contact via Traemand and the consumer is also possible once the planning service is completed and providing installation services is a next step in the renovation project. Is this being shared with other people or companies? The information provided on the IKEA service orders are loaded into Traemand’s CRM solution for its customer service representatives and other workers to view to best provide planning and installation services for consumers. None of the information coming from IKEA to Traemand is shared with outside companies, except those companies providing software services to Traemand and in those instances, only for the internal, operating purposes of Traemand as it conducts its business. Traemand may in certain instances share consumer data with governmental agencies as required by law.
